Opinion about WASTE -WOOD -ART EXHIBITION ( SYMPHONY IN WOOD ) in AKADEMY OF DINE ARTS , CALCUTTA ( 1980-s ) by Dr. Phani Basu .M.D
" Auguste Rodin once advised : ' To find out forms for your sculptures, - go to a jungle , You will find forms as you look around .There are forms in cloud pattern and in human-shapes.The place where you won't find forms is the class room of an Art - school.
The truth of the above statement can be best realized after seeing the exhibition of Dr, P. Basu ,
They all are Creations . The first Creator is Nature and then Dr, Basu .Without the vision of a mature artist such work would not be possible .
