The Shining Self never dreams and keeps IT's body alive with the Vital force of PRANA.
In Dreaming -state ,shining Self assumes many forms .
When one is freed from all desires, the Self enters the State of Dreamless sleep.
In the Unitive-State one sees without seeing ( Supra-Conscious or Super -Sensorial Vision ).
One sees externally,only when one is in Separative state ( Duality or Subject-Object Situation).
When the body grows weak in Old-Age,the Self separates IT-self.
He who is dying merges in Consciousness and thus Consciousness accompanies him when the individual Self departs along with the Impressions('prints') of all that he has done , good and bad.
We are said to be what our DESIRE was and is.
It is the Desire at the time of Death that determines what our next Life will be.( Priciple adapted by Gautam Buddha ).

The THUNDER SPEAKS :
Children of PRAJAPATI ,the Creator were gods , human being and asuras ( godless beings).
They all learnt from Prajapati the meaning of Lightning-Sound ---as ;'Dwa'.
To gods it was 'DAMYATA' or SELF - CONTROL.
To humans it was ' DATTA' or Spirit of GIVING.
To Asuras it was DAYADDHYAM or spirit of KINDNESS .
* DEATH IS THE FINAL STATE OF SELF IN LAST PHASE OF LIVING ( Not an END )AND WAITING IN 'TRANSIT '-STATE .
