SOMETIMES

Sometimes  it  seems to  me
it has been a  long, long  life
and yet  I  could not  achieve
so  many  ways   as I  planned
Other  times  I  felt
even this  long  life  as  so  short
to  climb  any  peak  I  planned
so  often times .
Some where  I  faulted  ;  some times  failed
so often  times  were  wasted  in  distractions
in  earthly   pleasures  and  joy
or,  maybe  I  slipped  or  tumbled .
And  in-spite
I  feel  so  happy  contemplating   all .

It  was  such a  checkerd  life
with  so  many  spectral  spread
though  embroidered  or  intervened  with
abundance  of   loops and  holes
or  terse  or  tempting  life
like  my  passion   for  chess-game
with  pawns , rooks  or  knights .
