Fatality  was  there  when I  saw  her
why  should  I  now blame  her ,  why  !
My own  heart  , my  eyes  were  athirst
I  would  not  blame  her  , -- though
The  cup  was  full ; I  got  the   tang'
I  quaffed  it   and  tipsy   I  am
I  would  not  blame  her ,   No !
