That  boat  is  now  on the  Ganga   River
 and  the  boat-man too , ----  another ethnic  shape
But  is   not  the 'Old man of  Hemingway
 but a  younger one  and  also  alone

It is  Nov 2 , 2012  of  theyear now
and  evening  time ---; can say
Sky  is  cloud -veiled and drizzling  all  around
 the  boat-man  alone  on a  tiny  boat
the stitched  and part  torn  umbrella his  only help
The  boat  is  floating  idle  with  no  'son'  to help
 the   'boat -man '  like in Meditation ,praying, to God ,-perhaps
though not for 'Bliss' but  for a few  fish, - to  survive
 Yes ,- that  is  their  daily  Meditation or  dream !

The  grey  Sky, the river -banks  hazy ,   muddy water  , almost  still
the  eve-time  now is  darkening  more.
  May  may the  fishes too  are  praying  hard
 just  to  bite the  bait  but  not   to  get  hooked !

 NATURE'S  game  of  BATTLING -LIFE  !
 for   mere  EXISTENCE  !
