GEETA (From Vedanta- Scripture)
First Chapter ( Essence)
(Personal view)
The Sloka [couplet]
( Sanskrit - in Roman- script with phonetic- Spelling );
Na cho sreyo onuposyaami hotyaa swojonom aahobey |
Na kaankhe Bijoyong Partho , na cho Raajyo, sukhaani cho ||
Transliteration :
No prudence I find O krishna in killing my kith and Keen |
I want not a kingdom , nor earthly happiness nor want to win ||
============================================
My view :
Here lies the state of confusion in Arjuna . Even before he starts the fight , he measures the result or outcome !
His grief is not for killing the opponent but only those who are his relatives . As if . if they were not his relatives , he would have enjoyed this killing -game !
Arjuna , though highly skilled and unique in martial - art, and a Super-star hero on the battle -field is , as assessed by krishna , a confused man in introspective and rational wisdom .
