TWO BIRDS ; WITHIN US
=======================
Two birds : within us
one , like familiar crow
we all know .
From right from the dawn
can ever hear his discordant note
goaded by hunger he search for food
even left out bones ; where ever found
And down he swoops .
The burning belly the hungry eyes
throttle all sense of decorum .
'Caw ! - Caw !
he harks his desire all day long
how hard and dark his a-bony breast
and that is his desire for ' paradise '.
Only can pray ; let him have its way .
The other bird
with mystic poise
sits or floats dove - like
even floating wings like cloud
'Bock ! Bokum - Bock !'
that is the tune of his appealing song
that way lies his supreme bliss .
Well ! the bird of all the birds I love
shall I divulge his name
better , not !
