MY   OTHER   WORLD

My  childhood  river   ;  Ocean - wide !
holding  my  mother's  hand !

Vast  and  deep  
lush  green  Nature
all  around

Bordering  river  - bank
Coconut  and  Mangroves
shaking   leafy-heads
like  sweet, playful , and  naughty
village girls !

Far- distant  azure  sky  
kissing   horizon  beyond the  river -  span
and
rowing    boat-men    with  swollen  sail
singing   folk -  songs
loud  and  sweet .

Even  high up  on   limitless  sky
renunciating    clouds  , --white -robed  and  floating
made    me  enthralled  and  mesmerized  and
enriched  the  storehouse  of  my  mind  so  much
 even   for  to day !
