On the 3rd day or after 72 hours of Departure from life ( death) , the Soul of the departed person wakes up from Slumber ( 'GARUR -PURAN' /" Tibetan Book Of The Dead ") and the 'departed person can see and hear his / her dear -ones and 'children ' more clearly and audibly than even living persons ( 7 times).
As such 72 hrs. onward , friend , relatives and Children should talk / sing her favorite subjects/songs in positive spirit and not lament the loss as that will be painful for departed soul .
